Current Exhibition: Living in America
On view at Susan Sheehan Gallery through September 10, 2026
In celebration of the American Semiquincentennial, Susan Sheehan Gallery is pleased to present Living in America: The Printed Image. While artists have long used printmaking to examine the nation’s cultural ethos, twentieth-century artists embraced Americana—the artifacts and cultural touchstones that characterize United States history and culture—to refine their interpretations. The exhibition features master prints by Vija Celmins, Edward Hopper, William Henry Johnson, Jasper Johns, Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol, and H.C. Westermann.
Susan Sheehan Gallery specializes in Post-War prints and works on paper.
Susan Sheehan is a leading expert in prints produced during the seminal era spanning the decades of the 1960s through the 1990s.
The gallery has been a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) for over 30 years
and Susan is is currently the president and an executive committee member.
